We received word this morning that our friend, writer, veterinarian, and one of the all around best men either of us has ever known, Donn Irving Blevins has passed away. He will be greatly missed. I can not imagine Warrensburg without him.
He did not live to see his book, ESCAPE INTO THE SEA And Other Stories, in print. I think this is what has made me more sad than anything.
The world just lost one of its great men.
