So wow, I haven't actually blogged in years - early 2009 was my last post on here - but recent events made me think I'd like to start back up. I set up a second blog on Tumblr (my main one I have there is almost entirely reblogs of Sherlock things, because I am a huge Sherlock fangirl), but because of some total jerks on Tumblr who are posting Sherlock spoilers, I'm going to stay away from there until I've seen the first episode. Seriously, having that spoiled for me would just be devastating. Some of the controversies in the Sherlock fandom have been part of the reason I've decided to start blogging again - I feel like I want to weigh in on the Caitlin Moran debacle, and Martin Freeman's rapey comments, and the jerk trolls trying to spoil "The Empty Hearse" for everyone. But also, I just want to write somewhere again. A lot is happening, a lot has changed, and so here I am.
I'm going to try to find some time tomorrow to redo the layout, the links, everything. It's weird looking at the stats and seeing what posts have had recent page views. I haven't even looked at this in years - I'd almost forgotten about it - and I'd forgotten much of what I'd written. I see how much some of my views have changed in the last few years, and how much has stayed the same. I've grown, and that's good, and I have more to say now than I did even then.
So - if anybody is still subscribed and gets this, or finds this on accident, or whatever - hello from the RGV! I'll see if I can figure this all out again.
